Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") governs how you may use Skrapior and its services. By creating an account or using Skrapior, you agree to this Policy. Violation may result in immediate account suspension without refund.

1. What Skrapior Does

Skrapior reads only publicly available business contact information from Instagram profiles, specifically the email address, phone number, category, and bio text that any person can see by visiting the profile without logging in. It does not access private accounts, scrape posts or stories, harvest followers lists, or collect any data that is not publicly displayed.

2. Permitted Uses

  • B2B outreach to businesses and creators who have listed contact information publicly
  • Building lead lists for legitimate sales and marketing campaigns
  • Researching potential partners, collaborators, or vendors
  • Compiling contact directories for professional purposes
  • Agency work on behalf of clients with proper authorization

3. Prohibited Uses

You must not use Skrapior to:

  • Send unsolicited bulk messages (spam) in violation of CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CASL, or any applicable anti-spam law
  • Harass, threaten, stalk, or intimidate any individual
  • Collect data on minors or individuals who appear to be under 18
  • Scrape profiles of private individuals who do not operate a public-facing business
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute exported data as a standalone data product
  • Build competing scraping or data-extraction services
  • Violate Instagram's Terms of Service or any other platform's policies
  • Engage in phishing, fraud, or any deceptive practice
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, bypass, or exploit Skrapior's infrastructure
  • Use automated scripts, bots, or tools to manipulate Skrapior's own platform (the tool is for scraping Instagram, not for abusing Skrapior itself)

4. Your Compliance Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for how you use the data collected through Skrapior. This includes:

  • Complying with GDPR if you contact individuals in the European Economic Area
  • Honouring opt-out and unsubscribe requests promptly
  • Identifying yourself truthfully in all outreach communications
  • Not making false or misleading claims in your outreach
  • Storing exported data securely and deleting it when no longer needed

5. Credit Usage

Credits are deducted for each profile processed regardless of whether contact information is found. Credits are non-refundable once consumed. We reserve the right to suspend access if usage patterns suggest abuse (e.g. extremely high-volume scraping of accounts that are clearly not businesses).

6. Enforcement

We may investigate any suspected violation of this Policy. If we determine a violation has occurred, we may suspend or terminate your account, cancel remaining credits, and report activity to relevant authorities where required by law. We are not obligated to provide a warning before taking action.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy at any time. Continued use of Skrapior after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice.
